. I was getting really mad and ready to go back to a corded version. It's highly annoying to try and type and it's missing all the N's, only to go back and put them in and having the keyboard spit out 3 or 4 extras N's.....arghh! I'm not to fond of the letter N now.
It has only been like that for a week.
.

Hello there, Missy! First of all, wonderful news about your Dad!!! Fingers crossed at this end that it'll work out for him to visit! And Little Miss Alex is growing in leaps and bounds, isn't she? I absolutely love the photos of Marcus...he sure looks like his daddy! It seems like just yesterday that Dylan started walking and now he never stops, ha! Oh buddy buddy...I'm thinkin' I'm gonna be running in a thousand directions once the new baby comes along next year! My d-i-l is talking about taking some time off when the baby is born like she did with Dylan and I'm kind of hoping she does, just to give me a month or two to recharge my battery! Kaitlin purchased a laptop over the weekend and the Geek Squad guy came by yesterday to set up her wireless DSL. The great thing about it is I could hook in to it, too! Yippee!!! Even with just that, I can't believe how much the speed has picked up on here. She picked up a memory card for me last nite and is hoping to install it this morning before she heads off for work, so we'll see how much that helps, too. The Geek Guy couldn't believe how slow my system was when he tried to sign on so he could do all his work...took 20 minutes! Ha, that ain't NOTHIN'!! Ah well. Dear Hubby passed right thru your neighborhood on his drive home from Kansas City...he hit rush hour traffic in SLC last Thursday! He made it home safe and sound, tho. I was just looking at your "Friends" list...I wonder how many of those old-timers are still blogging??? A lot of them are names I remember from OUR early blogging but I don't see any of them around anymore, do you?? I've lost touch with the vast majority of Bravenet writers, anyway...no time, sigh!! Hope this finds you well, darlin' girl...((((((((HUG))))))))
Oh I'm glad you can hook onto a faster connection. The memory should help a lot too and it's fairly simple to throw in there...I can just see the poor Geek Guy now and his frustration...lol.
nnnnnnnnn lol I love those expensive demos, you can often do a lot for free if you know what you want to do. I have been busy with my university course, and French classes (4 weeks full time, 4 weeks at work) but this month, August is my kid free time so I'm working on the university course projects. But, exam will be written, then I'm going to do a course challenge for a credit for a French course (or two maybe! what the heck), and then there's Nanowrimo.... I also plan to put my two novels up on Lulu and am still thinking of my cafepress things..
Kid free time for me would be spent just like I do now...but in peace! It get's to me only when I can't hear myself think and it's starting to now. Kurtis is going through a repetative stage of saying everything, over and over and he is driving me nuts...lol.
Leenie...check out my August 22nd "Thank you, Liz" post. There's something there for you!
