Had a great sleep in today...and the kids are so far being peaceful and amusing themselves. Tom found out where is is going...I don't think it was his ideal posting but it will be great for his credentials.He will be over at the Mental Health building...3pm to 11pm which isn't a bad shift really when you think about it. He doesn't see it as any harder than the Max building and Im sure he will do fine over there. The inmates are watched physically by cell checks 24/7..I think you get 5 minutes in between walk rounds so its hard on the officers. Im sure its not a fun place to work...13 deaths last year by hanging so it's a full on place to work. Won't be so bad for Tom because he is LT...still, it's a huge responsibility and they thought he was the best man for the job. His Capt. is the same as in Max so he had some sway in putting him there.He seems ok with it...

Next weekend will be his last 4 day weekend...then he will only have Sundays and Mondays off...I think that will be the hardest part..lol. I know I will be missing him and camping for 1 night isn't any fun. It's a little more flexable as Lt and you can have an extra day off here and there so Im sure we will manage. Im trying to be positive....lol.

Anyways...time to go do a few things and I will hopefully be back to do some rounds and visit. Hope your all having a great weekend
